Winners of a GAMAA Award for Engagement for Volunteer-run Organisations
The Mulgrave Shire Historical Society (MSHS) responsible for the conduct of the Mulgrave Settlers Museum (MSM) has been named winner in the category of Engagement for Volunteer-run Organisations of Gallery and Museum Achievement Awards (GAMAA) for 2017/18 year for its program of “Visiting the Ancestors”.
The GAMAA are presented by Museums & Galleries Queensland to honour the achievements of individuals and organisations in striving towards excellence. The awards are open to all Queensland public and non-commercial museums, galleries, historical societies, keeping places and other related cultural organisations and the individuals who work in them.
